In 2001 Poggio Mandorlo, a new great wine adventure, in the heart of the Maremma Hilly region, at the foot of the extinct Volcano Monte Amiata, in the Montecucco DOCG area, became a reality. Only the top quality and excellence have been pursued in making fine red wines with an elegant and delicate character but with a strong structure and bold intensity.
